My favorite moment from the finale goes to Isaiah Bradley, who has stolen every single scene this series. I think the finale did an excellent job at providing social commentary on our society, but also focusing on the choices and actions of the future rather than harping on all the wrong-doings from the past. What an epic statement for a character that struggled to take on the mantle while also managing the loss of his best friend and the financial hardships of his family. “The only power I have is that we can do better,” says Sam Wilson. Sam’s moral instincts is what separates him the most, which we saw in the finale when he took down a helicopter with intelligence then brute force and costing lives. He’s 100% correct, because what makes Sam Wilson “Captain America” is his untiring compassion and empathy to understand others perspectives. “No super-serum, no blonde hair, no blue eyes’,” says Sam Wilson. With the Senators continuing to call the Flag Smashers terrorists, Sam made quick work to dispel that notion. This was represented best when Sam stood up for the people he fought against just a few minutes prior. Not because he was a good soldier, but because he was a good man. Whether he wanted to believe it or not, Sam was always the right man for the job. Even in the 5-minutes he spent with the Senators during his final speech, you could tell they respected Sam an infinite amount more than they did with John Walker. Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson finally got the recognition and spotlight he deserved. The highlight of the finale easily goes to Sam Wilson becoming cemented as the new Captain America. Let’s get into the standouts and most important moments from the episode. For Marvel, this was a show that asked some really difficult questions and opened the door for a ton of new stories and possibilities down the road. From Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, Sharon Carter and Isaiah Bradley, each character had so many epic moments. There is so much to unpack from the finale so I’ll try to do my best to condense my thoughts. And finally, in some unfortunate news, Bruce Willis' family revealed the actor will be retiring from his long career in the industry.Wow. In other entertainment news, HBO has finally revealed the premiere date for the Game of Thrones prequel, House of the Dragon. The TV-14 rating carries with it violence, language and adult themes, so you'd think being rated as such, and with the amount of violence showcased in the series, it was in the clear. it seems #DisneyPlus is being very selective with what it might deem too bloody and violent for the TV-14 rated #Marvel series. In the now edited scene, we see him with his eyes closed and his shirt completely clean. In another scene from Falcon and Winter Soldier's third episode involving the death of Wilfred Nagel, we see him completely bloodied with his eyes wide open. One scene in particular was spotted by Reddit user Moonin Moulin, where they noticed in episode 3 around the 37min 45sec mark - Bucky throws a metal bar at a female thug that pierces her shoulder, pinning her to the container. In Marvel news, even with the TV-MA Netflix Marvel shows on Disney Plus, it appears there's censorship happening on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
